ARCO (Associated Retirement Community Operators)

ARCO (Associated Retirement Community Operators)

Tunstall is a strategic partner to ARCO, the main body representing the Retirement Community sector in the UK. Its members include both private and not-for-profit members, comprising about half of the Retirement Community sector. ARCO aims to promote confidence in the sector, ensuring that all members are providing a high quality service to their residents, raise awareness of the Retirement Community model amongst older people and stakeholders alike , and increase the volume and quality of expertise within the sector, continually investing in research to better understand and promote the socio-economic value of the housing with care model. Tunstall is working closely with ARCO to help achieve these goals, and build a strong sector with an appropriate legal framework, and sustainable and innovative design and construction.

CCN (County Councils’ Network)

CCN (County Councils’ Network)

The County Councils’ Network (CCN) is a cross-party special interest group of the Local Government Association, representing England’s county local authorities. Its members represent some 26 million people, and are responsible for almost half the country’s entire spend on children’s and adult social care. Its reports and advocacy influencing debates on the future of local services, with its work securing concessions from national governments Tunstall has supported the development of the CCN's Analysis Reports; Employing Assistive Technology in Adult Social Care and Adopting the Right Technology to Transform Social Care, which you can read the in the White Papers section under Resources.

DLF (Disabled Living Foundation)

DLF (Disabled Living Foundation)

Tunstall, along with TSA, supported the DLF’s development of ProAssist, an easy-to-use web portal which gives professionals access to a searchable archive of thousands of personalised independent living solutions. ProAssist provides and independent and reliable source of in-depth product information, reviews, guides, research and users’ stories for anyone responsible for prescribing equipment. Part of the highly successful LivingMadeEasy portal used by more than two million people every year, the unique resource is free of charge to TSA members, and is the first of its kind to adopt an international classification system based on ISO standards for assistive technology.

Housing LIN (Housing Learning and Improvement Network)

Tunstall has a long-standing relationship with Housing LIN, working together on various projects and events. Housing LIN is a sophisticated network bringing together housing, health and social care professionals in England, Wales, and Scotland to exemplify innovative housing solutions for an ageing population. Recognised by government and the housing with care sector as a leading ‘knowledge hub’ on specialist housing, Housing LIN delivers a range of online and regional networked activities designed to share ideas, resources and insight to spread good practice and inform and improve the range of housing choices that enable older and disabled people live independently. Tunstall is also supporting TAPPI (Technology for our Ageing Population: Panel for Innovation), a project dedicated to developing a benchmark for what ‘good’ looks like in technology for housing and care.

NHC (Northern Housing Consortium)

NHC (Northern Housing Consortium)

NHC represents the views of housing organisations in the North of England. It is a membership organisation made up of local authorities, ALMOs and associations that provide social housing for tenants. Consortium Procurement (CP) is a not-for-profit membership body with a portfolio of over 400 members across the whole of the UK which provides public sector bodies with a compliant and trusted procurement route. Tunstall has been a supplier on the NHC framework for Technology Enabled Care since its inception in 2008. As a result, Tunstall has built a strong relationship with the NHC and works alongside them to ensure members get the best possible solutions to meet their needs. Tunstall was awarded the following TECS 19-23 lots: Lot 1 Product Catalogue Lot 2 Installation, Service/Maintenance and Repair Lot 3.2 Analogue Service and Maintenance Lot 3.3 Call Centre Equipment Service and Maintenance Lot 4.1 Call Monitoring Lot 4.2 Mobile Response Lot 4.3 Call monitoring with mobile response Opportunities can be awarded via further competitions (mini tenders), direct award or ranked award, giving members choice and flexibility as to how they award their contracts to a selected list of suppliers through an approved procurement route.

PfH (Procurement for Housing)

PfH delivers complete, whole house services that encompass not just frameworks, but consultancy, technology and dynamic purchasing systems; all of which allow its Members to achieve step-change improvements through a combined approach of delivering immediate cost savings at the same time as driving insightful long-term benefits. Tunstall has been a supplier on PfH’s Telecare and Telehealth products and services framework since 2015, and works with them to provide a range of market leading solutions to its members. Tunstall was awarded the following Provision of Telecare and Telehealth Services lots: Lot 1 - Telecare Equipment Lot 2 - Telehealth (1st ranked) Lot 3 - Call monitoring Lot 4 - Telecare Equipment and Monitoring Lot 5 - Software and Cloud Based Services Lot 6 - Managed Service (1st ranked) Opportunities can be awarded via further competitions (mini tenders), direct award or ranked award, giving members choice and flexibility as to how they award their contracts to a selected list of suppliers through an approved procurement route.

TSA (Technology Enabled Care Services Association)

The TSA is the representative body for technology enabled care (TEC) services, working on behalf of and advising organisations including telecare and telehealth providers, suppliers, housing associations, care providers, emergency services, academia, charities, government bodies and health and social care commissioners. Tunstall has an established relationship with TSA, working closely with them on a range of events and initiatives to support its members.
